Council Elections Unopposed

As a result of nominations for 4 vacancies on the Council, Returning Officer Peter Reynolds has declared the following Councillors elected unopposed.

Cr Trish Whitney

Cr Christine Germain

Cr Noel Dew

Cr Larry Scott

All nominations are existing Councillors whose terms will expire in October 2013.

A swearing ceremony and the election of the President, Deputy President and Committies was held at the Ordinary Council meeting held on Tuesday October 27 at 1.30pm with Cr Mike Walmsley being elected Shire President and Cr Larry Scott being elected Deputy President.
