The Director Community Services / Environmental Health Officer are vitally concerned with the standards of dwellings, shops, factories, food handling, drainage and septic installations, offensive trades, rubbish and waste disposal, water catchment areas and water supply, camping and caravanning, food standards, carcass meats, pest control, infectious diseases and immunisation, the keeping of animals and the pollution of the environment in general.
