Visitor & Information Centre

The Shire of Waroona stretches from "Sea to Scarp" from the Indian Ocean to the Darling Range, and incorporates the localities of Waroona, Hamel, Preston Beach, Armstrong Hills and Lake Clifton.

Waroona is a rural town on the South Western Highway 90 minutes and 112km south of Perth, and 40 minutes and 43km south-east of Mandurah. Access to Waroona can also be gained by rail from Bunbury and Perth.

The Waroona Visitor Centre, 37 South Western Highway, is adjacent to the Heritage Bush Pole 'forest'. Open daily 9.30am to 3.30pm the Centre provides local and regional information and offers a wide range of art, crafts and souvenir lines. Closed Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
