The Shire of Waroona's recycling service is now carried out on a fortnightly basis to everyone who receives a bin service. Your yellow top recycling bin will be picked up fortnightly on the same day as your green bin is picked up. Bins must be out by 6.00am.

Please refer to the recycling calendar distributed with your rates for pick up dates or alternatively contact our office for a copy.

The following items can be recycled:

• Glass bottles and Jars, no china, porcelain, pottery or other types of glass. No lids.
• Drink cartons, including long life cartons, please rinse.
• Newspaper, Office Paper, Magazines & Junk Mail, no phone books.
• Steel and Aluminium cans including Aerosols, no other metal items of any kind.
• Plastic Bottles only, with 1, 2 or 3 symbol on bottom, remove lids.
• All other Cardboard, remove contents and liners, please flatten.
