 The Shire of Waroona has received an application to use and develop land for Workforce Accommodation and public comments are invited.

 Key elements of the proposal include:

 248 Single Person’s Quarters (in 62 units);

  • Kitchen and diner;
  • Recreation room;
  • On-site wastewater treatment plant;
  • BBQ areas;
  • Meeting/prayer room;
  • On-site caretaker/manager accommodation; and
  • Outdoor recreation space.

Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending on the 28th day of September.  Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the Shire in writing on or before that day.
