COVID-19 Coronavirus: Mandatory Contact Registers

Published on Friday, 4 December 2020 at 9:58:35 AM

From 5 December 2020, it will be mandatory for particular businesses and venues to collect contact details of customers and patrons. Anyone who attends these particular businesses or venues will be required to register their contact details, unless getting take-away. The contact register records will only be held for 28 days.

To help, the WA Government has developed a free app, SafeWA, which will provide businesses with a digital contact register system. SafeWA is an efficient and safe way to record patron and visitor contact details where they can check-in, using the app.

The Shire of Waroona is vested in keeping our community as safe as possible. Therefore from the 5th December 2020 it will be a requirement to sign into all Council run facilities and functions. The facility QR code will be clearly displayed at each facility and venue. To ensure you are prepared please download the SafeWA app from the app store and have it ready to scan when you are visiting with us.

Let’s all do our part to keep each other and our Community Safe.
