Last week about 75 hardworking Emergency Services personnel enjoyed another truly delicious meal from the Waroona Bowling and Social Club, at the Shire’s annual Emergency Services Thank You and Service Recognition Dinner.
The Hon Andrew Hastie MP, Assistant Minister for Defence, and Federal Member for Canning spoke of the valued contributions made by so many dedicated and hardworking personnel.
Shire President Cr Mike Walmsley and District Officer Brett Finlay thanked everyone for all of the time and personal commitment they continue to provide to keep our beautiful town of Waroona and its surrounds safe in times of crisis.
Long service medals were presented ranging from 5 years’ service through to 35 years’ service. What achievements!
