Lotterywest Emergency Relief Funding
Local residents experiencing hardship can rest assured that support is available, following a successful funding application from the Shire of Waroona through the Lotterywest COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.
Emergency Relief (ER) funds amounting to $36,655.00 will allow for the provision of fuel vouchers, food hampers, gas bottles and emergency accommodation to support vulnerable people in our community over the coming year.
Individuals who require emergency or crisis relief can access support following a welfare assessment at one of the following service organisations:
- Waroona Vinnie’s Welfare team
- Dusty Roads WA
- Waroona Family Support Service (referral only)
The Shire of Waroona appreciates support from Lotterywest, as the only State Government owned lottery in Australia where all the profits are returned to the community. Lotterywest, the Shire of Waroona and partnered agencies are committed to supporting the community through times of need.
