Waroona Senior Citizens' Welfare Committee, with grant assistance from the Shire, were successful in applying for $48,998 from Lotterywest to improve and modernise the Waroona Senior Citizens’ Social Centre. This grant will be used in conjunction with funding received from the Shire and Alcoa Waroona Sustainability Fund to make the facilities more accessible, inclusive, comfortable and attractive to all the current users.
