Bulk Rubbish Collections

Hard Refuse collections are conducted every two years with the last collection taking place in August 2017 and the next collection being scheduled for August 2019. Policy and guideline pamphlets are mailed prior to the collection taking place, but are also available from the Shire Administration Office.

Please note the service is available in townsites only - please refer to maps located at the Shire Administration Office, Waroona Public Library, Preston Beach General Store & Community Centre and the Lake Clifton Community Centre.

Bulk Rubbish can also be disposed of at the Shire’s Buller Road Landfill site.

Degassing of Refrigerators
Fridges and Freezers presented for bulk rubbish collection are required to be de-gassed. They will not be collected unless accompanied by a certificate issued by an authorised tradesperson stating that the appliance has been properly degassed.

Buller Road Refuse Site

The rubbish disposal site is situated approximately 11km south west of the Waroona townsite along Buller Road and is available for disposal of refuse on the following days:

WEDNESDAY - CLOSED

THURSDAY - 10.00am - 4.00pm

FRIDAY - 10.00am - 4.00pm

SATURDAY - 10.00am - 4.00pm

SUNDAY - 10.00am - 4.00pm
