Youth Advisory Council
Waroona Youth Advisory Councils provide a forum for young people to get together and discuss youth issues, initiatives and projects. They can also advise Governments on a wide range of Youth Issues.
Waroona's YAC consists of a group of young people from a variety of backgrounds who represent their community/area.
Waroona's YAC meet on the 1st Thursday of each month at 5pm at Shire of Waroona Administration building.
Throughout the year, the members of the Waroona Youth Advisory Council organise and assist with several events in the community:
- Vintage Machinery Rally;
- Sea to Art;
- Movie Under the Stars;
- Youth Action Event;
- Waroona Agricultural Show;
- Australia Day; and
- All Australian Car Day.
