The Shire's Environmental Health Services is responsible for the standards of dwellings, shops, factories, food handling, septic installations, offensive trades, rubbish and waste disposal, water catchment areas and water supply, camping and caravanning, food standards, carcass meats, pest control, infectious diseases and immunisation, the keeping of animals and the pollution of the environment in general.
