Last night, Cr Walmsley, Cr Purcell, Louis and Brad attended the information session about the Waroona Business Support Group, facilitated by Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This information session was held at Lake Navarino Holiday Park and included discussion on the formation of a Waroona Business Support Group sub-committee of the Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This sub-committee will be a collective of Waroona business owners similar to already well-established sub-committees such as the Murray Business Support Group and Mandurah Boardwalk Group. A number of topics were discussed including:
- What will the aim/mission of the Waroona Business Support Group be?
- What will be involved?
- Who can/should sit on the committee?
- First course of action?
