An opportunity has arisen for Mechanic to join our Works team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role contributing directly to the construction and maintenance of the Shire’s roads, drainage, and other infrastructure, helping deliver high-quality outcomes for our local community.
The successful applicant will provide cost effective and high-class maintenance to the shire’s plant and equipment to assist in safely and efficiently delivering the Shire of Waroona’s annual works programs and projects.

This casual position has been created to support the Shire’s existing works team and address a current workforce gap. The role will be employed under Shire of Waroona EA 2022 - Tradesperson Level 1.1 to 1.4 ($36.84 to $40.30 per/hr) + 25% casual loading dependent on skills and experience.
