An opportunity has arisen for Plant Operator/General Hand to join our Works team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role contributing directly to the construction and maintenance of the Shire’s roads, drainage, and other infrastructure, helping deliver high-quality outcomes for our local community.
The successful applicant will assist with a variety of civil works, including operating and maintaining plant and general works to support the Shire’s capital and maintenance programs. Opportunities also exist to learn and build your skills in plant operation under the guidance of experienced staff.

This casual position has been created to support the Shire’s existing works team and address a current workforce gap. The role will be employed under the Shire of Waroona Outside Workforce Enterprise Agreement Level 3 to 5 + 25% casual loading ($42.03 to $45.96 per/hr) dependent on skills and experience.
