The Shire is pleased to advise that the installation of the Cockatoo Watering Station at the Drakesbrook Cemetery is now complete. The watering station provides essential hydration for native birds, particularly the declining black cockatoo populations.
To compliment the watering station the Shire has scheduled the installation of artificial nesting boxes which will be installed on Thursday 10th April.
This project was funded by the Western Australian Government’s Natural Resource Management Program
