The Shire of Waroona, together with the Town Centre Taskforce, is planning for improvements to Waroona to help create a refreshed, active and vibrant town centre. The centre piece of town will be a brand new Community Precinct that will include:

  • Open grassed areas for community gatherings, events and markets or somewhere to just rest and relax.
  • A nature play area and playground with seating and shade that will be a great spot for all the young families.
  • An all-ages skate park and pump track to really get your adrenalin going!
  • The Big Shed will have a facelift so it can be used for all sorts of community activities.
  • Accessible toilets, pathways and seating.
  • Retaining some of the big trees and carefully planting a whole lot more.

Let’s hear from Angus from Convic who has been working on the Waroona Community Precinct design.

There is a fair way to go with securing all the funding needed to make this Community Precinct a reality, but for now, we are keen to hear what you think of the proposed designs.

Tell us what you think about the proposed Waroona Community Precinct by following the survey link:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MT5Z5Y5
