The Shire of Waroona is home to many fantastic community groups that operate solely with the support of volunteers. Volunteering is a powerful way to make a real difference in the community you live in and love. It strengthens your sense of purpose, helps you meet new people and make lasting friendships, builds valuable skills, and lays the foundation for a stronger, more connected community. Whether you have just a few hours a week or plenty of time to spare, your contribution can leave a lasting impact.
Below you will find a list of Shire wide community groups. If you have any questions or need assistance connecting with a group, please reach out to the Shire’s Community Development Team at cdo@waroona.wa.gov.au.
For further support, the Peel Volunteer Resource Centre helps to link volunteers with community organisations, they provide training opportunities, resources and promote volunteering in the Peel Region. Visit www.peelvolunteer.org.au for more information.
