The Waroona Community Resource Centre provides a vast array of services and facilities to our community. Some of these include:

• Services Australia Agent – Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support via dedicated telephone, printer, and computer
• Job Board covering local and regional areas - Peel and South West
• Training and Information Sessions – designed to support the community needs and interests
• Computer and Internet access
• Administrative services – copying, printing, laminating, binding and faxing
• Resume services
• Room/office hire
• Justice of the Peace signing (by appointment)
• Videoconferencing facilities
• TransWA information and travel bookings
• Local community activity information – services and groups
• Staying in Place Program Provider – Aged Home Care Services
• Community Kitchen
• Family Support Services
• Waroona Community Car
• Youth Centre – Big Youthie and Little Youthie is held fortnightly on Thursdays in the blue building, corner of Parnell Street and South Western Highway

Waroona Community Car

The Waroona Community Car was established in 1995 by a group of dedicated local residents, operating under the auspices of the Waroona Senior Citizens Welfare Inc. The initial vehicle was funded through a grant from the WA Lotteries Commission, and the service has since been sustained through a combination of fundraising, donations, and additional grant funding.

The Community Car provides transport support to residents of the Shire of Waroona, helping them attend medical and hospital appointments. The service is coordinated by the Waroona Community Resource Centre and is made possible by a team of volunteer drivers.

CONDITIONS OF USE : The Community Car is available Monday to Friday only, not weekends or public holidays. All bookings of the car must be made by contacting Waroona Community Resource Centre on 9733 3011. Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm and Friday 9am to 3pm. All payments by clients for the vehicle use shall be paid by fuel card and cash difference,. or cash which must be equivalent to the current travel price list.

CLIENTS RESPONSIBlLITlES: Clients under the age of 16 years require a legal guardian to accompany them. Clients 16 to 18 years require a responsible adult to accompany them. Clients who require the use of a wheelchair/walking frame or with special medical needs will require a carer or a suitable companion to assist them.

Cancellations must be made 24hrs prior to booking or the client will be liable for a $30 fee.
