The Shire of Waroona is inviting riders, residents, clubs, organisations and other interested community members to help establish an independent community association to progress the development of a proposed off-road vehicle recreation area within the Shire.
An initial community meeting will be held on Thursday, 12 November 2026 at 5:00pm to bring interested parties together, discuss the proposal and explore the establishment of an incorporated association.
The intention is for a community-led association to take responsibility for progressing the project, including planning, fundraising, seeking relevant approvals and exploring opportunities for the future development and management of a facility. The Shire looks forward to working collaboratively with the group as the project progresses, providing guidance and support where appropriate.
