The second stage of the new recreation and community shared pathway within the Shire of Waroona is scheduled to commence on the Monday 5th January 2026.
These works include the installation of a new shared pathway along McDowell Street and Shannon Avenue. Works are expected to take approximately three (3) weeks to complete pending weather conditions. Traffic control will be in place whilst works are being undertaken, so road users are asked to use caution.
The new pathway will become a great addition to the pathway network and one that the community will benefit from. This Recreation and Community Shared Path Upgrade has been jointly funded by the State Government and the Shire of Waroona as part of the WA Bicycle Network Grants Program.
