Preston Beach Foreshore Management Plan - Community Engagement

The Preston Beach foreshore is a beautiful natural environment that provides a range of social and recreational uses for both residents and visitors alike.

However, the foreshore is currently facing a range of pressures, including coastal hazards (such as coastal erosion and inundation) and the pressures associated with recreational and tourism uses.

In order to address these issues, the Shire of Waroona is updating its existing Foreshore Management Plan (FMP). The updated FMP will ensure that there is a well-defined plan for the foreshore’s management over the next 10 years.

The community can provide valuable input into the preparation of the FMP by attending a community workshop or filling out the community survey.
