The Shire of Waroona advises reconstruction works for Preston Beach Road are scheduled to commence 13 January 2026. The project will extend out until late April 2026, subject to weather conditions and contractor availability.
The Shire was successful in gaining additional funding and planning to undertake double the works in this next stage for Preston Beach Road. The works will extend from the previously completed segment through to the causeway.
Preparatory works locating essential underground services and surveying will occur in the lead up to construction.
The Shire reminds road users to drive with caution, expect delays and allow additional travel time during the construction period.
