The Shire recently completed a revegetation planting project at Drakesbrook Cemetery, with the valuable assistance of Year 10 students from the Waroona District High School Bush Rangers program.
Despite the wet weather, the students showed great enthusiasm and dedication, helping the Shire plant over 300 native plants across the site. It was a fantastic day of teamwork and community spirit.
The Shire extends its sincere thanks and congratulations to the students for their outstanding efforts and contribution to this important environmental initiative.
The revegetation works were funded through the State Nature Resource Management Grant Funding.
