SHIRE OF WAROONA COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The Shire of Waroona has seven (7) Councillors (Elected Members).
Elected members are elected to their positions for a four-year term. Local government elections in Western Australia are held every two (2) years. This means that approximately half of the positions on council become available to contest each election.
The next Shire of Waroona Local Government Election will be held Saturday 21 October 2023
The 2023 election will be conducted as a postal election with a Returning Officer appointed by the Western Australian Electoral Commission.
Four positions will be contested at this election. The sitting Councillors whose terms are due to expire are:
Cr John Mason
Cr Laurie Snell
Cr Karen Odorisio
Cr Vince Vitale
