Waroona Town Centre Revitilisation - Drop-In Session

Following months of engagement, planning, idea generating and collaboration, and in line with the community’s highest priority, the key ideas from the much anticipated draft Waroona Town Centre Revitilisation Plan (the Plan) are available for upcoming review and feedback prior to finalisation early in the new year.

Residents, ratepayers and community members are invited to an informal ‘drop-in’ session at Memorial Hall Tuesday 15 December from 4pm–7pm to review the ideas and strategies for the town centre.

The project consultant team from element will be available to discuss key components of the Plan and the broader vision for Waroona’s town centre.   Graphic panels and feedback forms will be located at the hall and on the Shire website (following the session) to capture community feedback.

The Waroona Town Centre Revitilisation Plan has been prepared to guide the future development of the town centre. This is a key milestone in the development of the Plan, which will benefit from robust feedback and ideas from the community at this point in time.

The draft Plan provides short, medium and longer term aspirations and strategies that will enable the town centre to move towards success, becoming a regional destination for the Peel and beyond.
