Bulk Rubbish Collection Complete
The Shire of Waroona’s biennial bulk rubbish collection is now complete. This year, which was the first time the collection has been carried out by a contractor rather than by Shire crews, was completed in 7 days which included a quick second sweep of all areas to collect anything missed in the first pick up.
Shire staff are very happy with the outcome and feel that the switch to using a contractor has been a complete success.
The next collection will be approximately two years from now. Dates will be advised well in advance.
The Shire would like to thank those that participated for following the guidelines and accepting the changed timing of the collection.
