The Preston Beach community enjoyed another successful outdoor cinema event on the Saturday night of the March long weekend with well over 100 people and quite a few kangaroos on the golf club green to watch movie:
‘The Call of the Wild‘ with Harrison Ford.
Attendees enjoyed beautiful weather, a sausage sizzle, fresh popcorn and refreshments along with an incredible movie that captured the attention and delighted all.
The Preston Beach Golf Club volunteers did a fabulous job preparing the green, delivering event flyers to individual households and coordinating the cinema snack shop. The Shire of Waroona was pleased to fund the movie license and deploy staff and cinema equipment to support the Preston Beach community.
The outdoor cinema event delivered by the Shire of Waroona and Preston Beach Golf Club supports the Act, Belong-Commit message for a mentally healthy and inclusive community.
