The Shire of Waroona is poised to come alive in spring-time with events galore to suit every member of the family.

‘Spring into Waroona’ runs from September to the end of November 2022 and will provide an opportunity for visitors and residents to spend time at different locations around the Shire, while enjoying a range of fantastic entertainment.

Annual favorites like Troutfest and the Waroona Agricultural Show will be back, while the much-loved All Australian Car Day has teamed up with the Vintage Machinery Rally to deliver what promises to be an unmissable event for fans of all things vintage.

Other events include a wildflower walk in Lake Clifton, a Natural Resource Management and Coastal Conference delegate sundowner at Preston Beach, an outrigging event at Drakesbrook Weir, a de-stash crafter’s day, community markets and a three-day electronic music festival.

Shire President Mike Walmsley urged the community to enjoy spring-time in the Shire by attending as many events as possible.

“There really is something for everyone regardless of your age or background,” Cr Walmsley said.

“Spring is such a beautiful time to spend time in Waroona, so tell your friends and family to come for a visit and take advantage of all the activities that are running.”
